DIY Christmas Wreath
FIND CHRISTMAS WREATH INSPIRATION WITH THIS EASY DIY DESGINER ESQUE WREATH
Its that time of year y’all, and by that time I mean less than a week after Halloween. Regardless. I am getting our house fa la la la ready! This year I am joining a bunch of other incredibly talented bloggers to bring y’all weekly Christmas inspiration & fun DIY projects!
This weeks theme is DIY wreaths & that just so happens to be where I like to start all my seasonal decorating, the front porch!
The Wreath
Just like with my spring & fall wreath projects, the first
Supplies:
- Flower Bundles
- 24″ Wreath (this is a really great size for front doors)
- Greenery Bundles
- Winer Sign
- Scrap Fabric
- Hot Glue Gun
- Wire Cutters
- Florist Wire

First, I like to lay out all my supplies. I separate & cut all my flowers & greenery into smaller stems so they will attach easily to the wreath. Plus visually laying everything out helps me get a plan for where I want to start.

I decided to start with this super cute sign I bought from Michaels. It needed a little sparkle, so I traced the letters with Modge Podge & sprinkled glitter over them. That really gave the sign the extra something it needed.

While the sign dried I started to tie in my fabric to the wreath. I am a super huge fan of buffalo check! There may or may not be an entire blog post devoted to my favorite budget savvy buffalo check finds (psst there totally is). It’s the pattern that works for every season!

Once I had my fabric all tied on I secured it with little dabs of hot glue just to be sure it would be secure. Then, it was time to add my now sparkly & fabulous sign! That got secured with lots of hot glue.

Next, it’s time to add my floral & greenery pieces. I play with this a lot before gluing anything down to make sure Im happy with the arrangement.
