Top 10 Designer Picked Living Room Colors
Here are the top 10 designer picked colors to make your living room inviting & cozy
Does anyone else’s living room get lots of… living done in it?!
Ours definitely does!
Its the center of our new farmhouse & a space we can all relax & get cozy in together.
The dining room is right off this space so it’s often the perfect spot for entertaining as well!
It has a lot of jobs to preform & needs to be able to accommodate a toddler, 4 dogs, guests, & us.

Thats a tall order for one room, but with the right furniture choices, color, & decor I think it can handle it all!
The first thing any good living room needs is a wall color that speaks to you.
Here are the top ten designer chosen living room wall colors to help you get an idea of how you want your room to feel & look
Aegean Teal- Benjamin Moore

This soft teal is perfect for giving your room the pop of color it needs & accents well with the burnt orange colors I’m currently obsessing over!
Sherwin Williams- Extra White

If you are looking for a color you can change decor often with, this is my go to white paint!
Garden Flower- Valspar

This color just feels so fresh & inviting, like an actual garden! White furniture & gold accents would look amazing in this space.
Passionate- Sherwin Williams

This is a bold choice that would make an amazing pop of color on trim work, board & batten, or an accent wall.
Cloudy Gray- Benjamin Moore

The perfect soft, light, & bright living room color. This one can be accented so many ways & to fit so many different styles.
Misted Green- Benjamin Moore

This color feels serene without being even a little bit boring! I would love to see this color as an accent, for trim, or the whole room.
Painter’s White- Behr

This refreshing color choice is soothing, calm, & would accent dark wood floors beautifully!
Dayflower- Behr

A true looking blue that would accent warm taupe furniture & metallic decor perfectly.
Sherwin Williams- Alabaster

This is my favorite white-ish hue that I plan on using for our living room! You can see it accents the newly installed stone wall in our dinning room here!
Repose Gray- Sherwin Williams

This warm gray is a classic & a gorgeous choice if you are looking to go more neutral. I like to accent this color with natural wood & gold accents.
After you find the right color for your space the rest is smooth sailing!
This is what I am dreaming of for our living room:

This room feels warm & cozy with natural wood tones but still modern enough to flow with the rest of the house.
I am digging this boho rug to create a visual boundary for the space since it is an open floor plan.
That leather couch has been calling to be for a while now & I think I’m finally ready to make the leap, plus it will be easy to clean up any toddler messes off of!
Just like the old house I would love to build more photo ledges to display all our family photos or pretty prints.
What do y’all think of the black trim?! I am really wanting to add contrast trim to this space! Here are some of my favorite colors!
Stay tuned as we pull this renovation together one piece at a time. I always like to go back & see how close we came to the design board!
