THE PERFECT LIGHT, BRIGHT, & CLEAN GARAGE PAINT COLOR TO FRESHEN UP YOUR WORKSPACE
ORC Week 3: The Perfect Garage Paint Color
Can you believe we are already
For those of you who don’t know, the One Room Challenge is a 6 week room renovation challenge hosted by Better Homes & Gardens. Twice a year, some extremely talented bloggers get together to tackle one room & complete an entire renovation in 6 weeks. Its stressful but also a whole lotta fun!
This week we tackled painting the garage, & if you follow along with our Instagram stories you know it was not a “we” but a “me” type situation. My painting party of 1 was hot & sweaty & full of regret at picking such a major renovation in this Alabama heat, but at the end of the day, I made it y’all.
Lets take a look at the before situation we had going on:

Yepp it scared us too. During week 2 we got it all cleaned out though & made a really nice size donation to the Salvation Army & Waste Management.
After Decluttering:

So it’s getting better… This week it was time to brave the spiders & paint the walls. We wanted a bright, clean, & light wall color that would freshen up

We ended up going with Useful Gray by Sherwin Williams but I bought the Valspar version to save a little money. I really do like the coverage of Valspar too so I was not disappointed.
We used 3 gallons total because I had to paint the ceiling too. I definitely recommend a paint pole for any ceiling work & tall walls. It made the whole process go a lot faster.
I am in deep love with this paint color! It is the perfect garage or workshop color. It is neutral & bright & I’m in love. Definitely worth the hours of sweating & battling spiders.
Thats a wrap on our ORC Week 3: The Perfect Garage Paint Color
