ORC Nursery Renovation: Week 5
Do you feel that? That’s the pressure of only one week left of the One Room Challenge yall! It is officially crunch time or maybe that should have started sooner & I’m just late to the crunch time show. Either way, we have one week left before the big nursery renovation reveal & I am so excited to show yall what we have been working on!
If you are just joining us, we are participating in the Spring One Room Challenge which is an event hosted by Better Homes & Gardens, where lots of talented bloggers get together & transform a room in 6 weeks! For this ORC we chose to take on the nursery.
Possibly I’m feeling some pressure because I didn’t get a crazy amount of stuff done this week, night shift problems. We did however get his hanging wooden shelves put up & I big puffy heart love them!
They are perfect for the space & have that nautical vibe. I bought the hooks from hobby lobby & the shelves off Amazon which I will link in the reveal post! The blocks are from my baby shower, my mom made them for baby Eli out of wood posts!
How adorable are these whale tail hooks to hang my DIY nautical art that’s going above his crib?! That project will (fingers crossed) be completed by Friday. Then, the only thing left is to hang the bookshelves up & we are ready for the reveal & baby Eli’s arrival!
Heres all we accomplished so far & whats left to do before next week:
– Build shelving for closet -Install laminate flooring -Tall board & batten -Paint -Makeover buffet into a changing table
- -Nautical art
-Buy nursery furniture Install shelving Install new light fixture- The fan is here!
- Put up book shelves
Totally doable (nervous laughter)! Don’t forget to check out the other amazing bloggers in their last week before the big reveal!
