Time for my favorite part of every renovation, icing!
Adding hardware feels like the icing on the cake of every room makeover.
This office has come so far since we first started and these DIY cabinets and drawers were a labor of love.
They added plenty of great storage options and they were pretty easy to build, but they were definitely missing something…
Gorgeous brass handles and pulls from Plank Hardware!
Mixing and Matching Hardware Styles

My favorite tip when adding hardware to cabinets and drawers is to mix the types you use.
Using a combination of pulls and knobs makes the space feel custom and adds character.
Find hardware styles that compliment each other without being identical, this makes the space look high end without having to break the bank!
Hardware Combinations
Here are some of my favorite hardware combinations that will instantly upgrade your space!

This Knurled T Bar Cabinet Pull and Knurled Cabinet Knob are great for adding texture.

The Hexagonal T Bar and Pull are a fun way to add shape to your cabinets and drawers.

This brass T handle and Circular knob bring a simple elegance to every space.
Office Hardware Upgrade

I added the PLANE Minimalist T-Bar Pulls to the drawer fronts for a clean modern look.
The rounded feature on these pulls complemented the rounded trim on the drawer edges perfectly!

I paired them with these PLANE Minimalist Cabinet Knobs.
They are the perfect shape and make the DIY door fronts look elevated and classic.

The brass hardware also compliments our newly installed plug in sconce lighting.
