Y’all this has been a year!
Truthfully one of my best & most favorite years, we have been so truly blessed & I am so thankful to all of you who have shared our two most recent major life events:

I got married to my best friend

& the three of us became a family!

we bought our forever home on 18 acres!
Those memories I will forever distinctly remember!
So in 2021 we successfully:
- Sold 2 houses
- Bought a fixer-upper on 18 acres of land
- Planned a wedding (including making all our tables & benches)
- Got married!!
- Renovated a bunch of rooms (don’t worry I’ll show you all the things below)
- Added cows & turkeys to the Watson Farms crew!

21. Easy DIY Wooden Lanterns
These are the simplest lanterns to make & they are perfect for outdoor & indoor decor!
We even used them at our wedding & my sisters baby shower.

This diy flower cart is a hit for obvious reasons! It is so dang adorable & budget friendly to make.
We have used this more than any other piece of decor for parties, our wedding, & just cute outside decor!
It is the perfect cake stand, favor display, or housing for your fresh herbs or flowers.
19. How To Refinish a Table, Chairs, & Fabric Seat Covers: Using The Same Paint

Our dining room table, chair, & seat cover was an obvious favorite because we did it all using one brand of paint!
The fabric paint is still holding strong even after 3 washes (you know, toddlers…).

18. How To Remove An Interior Wall Without Needing To Repair Drywall

We removed the wall in our new master bedroom where the closet once was to really open up the space!
It is one of the best decisions we have made so far & we didn’t even have to repair drywall!
Now we are slowly but surely turning it into an office/sitting nook, that will be a 2022 project 😉

It’s no wonder this project was a popular one 😅
This before photo is rough & the room was much worse trust me!
Eli’s big boy toddler bedroom renovation was the first room we tackled at the farmhouse & for good reason!

16. Dining Room Makeover: DIY Stone Siding Accent Wall

Our dining rooms new accent wall is now a focal point in our home.
The stone panels were so simple to install & really took this room to the next level.

Our wedding really was a fairytale & it also didn’t break the bank which is every brides goal!
We were able to DIY so many amazing things for our wedding so that we could save money & come in under budget.
The best part is, everything looked high end & not homemade!

This DIY workbench was desperately needed with all of the renovation going on & really helped to keep us organized amidst all the chaos!
Being able to role it around is also a huge bonus, not mention it only took 3 hours to create.
We have already gained that time back by not having to do a tool battery search party everyday 😅

Our keg beer bar is hands down one of the funnest projects of 2021!
We have used it for football Saturdays & our wedding so far.
I think Adam might be dreaming of a man cave for it’s permanent home but that’s a project for the distant future 😉
