My first time experimenting with colorful trim was in Eli’s new big boy room & now I can’t stop!
I chose Rosemary by Sherwin Williams for his trim & bead board.

I am thrilled to announce we got another one done, our newly trimmed & painted kitchen window!
We went bold by painting the frame & trim New Black from Valspar.
It is officially my favorite window in the house & now I want to paint them all!

Pop of Color
This pop of color is exactly what this clean white kitchen needed!
I love the warmth it brings to the room & makes the window a feature all on its own.
Have you noticed green has been everywhere lately?
For good reason too, it adds a subtle cheeriness in this space.
I desperately wish I knew what color this was because it is gorgeous!
Every part of me wants to relax in a cozy bubble bath surrounded by this serene blue trim.
Wood Tones
Window trim doesn’t have to be painted to add character to a room.
I love the dark stain on this window trim & that it’s carried throughout the baseboards & ceiling.
The natural light wood look will always have my heart.
If y’all know me, you know I am all about the dark paint & light wood contrast.
This window is the best of both worlds!

Nuetrals
Not all window trim colors need to be bold to standout.
Neutrals that blend & are soft add a warmth to the room while still providing dimension.
This soft & creamy window frame & trim color accent these Alabaster white walls perfectly.
Matching window trim & baseboards are always a good idea.
Technically not a neutral per say but this grayish blue trim felt soft enough to make it into this category.
Bold Window Trim & Frames
Bold is in & in my book it’s never really been out 😉
I am a huge fan of mixing bold color with light walls, floors, & accents.
This window by Lucy was the inspiration for our kitchen window.
No all I need to do is whip up some DIY window panes for ours too!
This is a great mix of bold window frames & classic white window trim.
On a side note those mixed metals are also on point!
