THE BEST DIY UPCYCLE & PAINT UPDATE PROJECTS FOR ANY DIYER THAT IS LOOKING TO ADD BEAUTIUFL & BUDGET SAVVY DECOR TO YOUR HOME
Hey yall, welcome back to another episode of: I love budget savvy décor, paint & coffee staring the At Home DIY Challenge bloggers with guest appearances from my boxer Avery!
If yall have been following along with this little blog you know that we have been participating in the At Home DIY Challenges. These are monthly challenges that have different themes & produce a whole lot of fun & creative décor, rooms, & furniture. Today I thought id share with yall my favorite projects from the last two challenges, I know yall will love them as much as I do!
Paint Update Projects
For this challenge we all got to update anything we wanted with paint! I chose to makeover an unloved chair & I couldn’t be happier with the result!

I promised you Avery would make a guest appearance.
The first paint update project I am in deep love with are these custom wall decals Rebecca with Hello Central Avenue made from spray paint! Not to mention the Star Wars theme is clearly awesome!
Yall this buffalo check floor is swoon worth! Sherry from Savvy Apron out did herself with this laundry room floor makeover!
Would you believe this pretty nightstand is storing extra toys? Stephanie from Abbotts At Home has officially convinced me I need to go try out the Magnolia paint line asap!
How sweet is this magazine holder from Gathered In The Kitchen! I absolutely love the paper Stephanie chose for the front!
You have got to see the before of this painted bamboo chair makeover from 2 Bees In A Pod! The fabric & paint choices really make it pop!
Upcycle Projects
This was definitely a fun theme! We all upcycled a piece of décor or furniture we already had to give it new life. I upcycled this Dollar Store tub into a personalized faux galvanized tub! It is the perfect container to store drinks for a party or BBQ.
It looks totally legit right?! Spray paint magic yall!
Thanks to Hello Central Avenue I will now be scouring the thrift stores for stools to makeover! I absolutely love these & the fabric is neutral enough for any space!
My sweet friend Kippi from Kippi At Home upcycled this super cool antique door into some beautiful spring décor!
How clever is this typewriter succulent garden from What Meegan Makes?! I would never have thought of this, mainly because I kill absolutely everything, but her faux succulents would definitely be a plant I could maintain.
Can you believe Christina from The Frugal Homemaker made both of these plant stand out of one bar stool! Talk about an upcycle, this one is perfect!
You’ll be glad you “hung” around for this final upcycle, (sorry I couldn’t resist). Megan from Two Feet First made these adorable hanging plants from regular bowls. Stay right here while I go raid my cabinets for extra bowls to spray paint!
These were just a few of my favorite projects from the last two challeneges but I highly recommend going to check them all out, you will not be sorry! Let me know which projects were your favorites & don’t forget to check back for more awesome At Home DIY Challenge projects!
You have so many beautiful projects in your round up! Thank you for including my garden typewriter. It was a really fun project.
I hope you are having a really good week.
It was one of my favorites Meegan! Such a cool idea!
