2022 Project To-Do List
Follow along this year as we tackle all of these projects, renovations, & makeovers on a DIY budget
It is about to get busy y’all!
Which is basically just apart of our personalities now so we are used to it ๐
2021 had some amazing projects, makeovers, & renovations, but 2022 will be a whole new level!
We will have an entire year to work on turning our

The list of projects is long so we better get started ASAP!
But first could you pretty please take our survey?!
We want to hear from you so that we can do better, plus you will have a chance to win a brand new HART Tools Battery Powered Orbital Sander & Leather Tool Belt!
Now onto the projects:

Workshop Renovation

If you saw the DIY mobile workbench we made last year you know we are in desperate need of a nice & neat organized space to create.
You can see our vision for the space on our design board, I am definitely feeling the gold & black vibes!
We need a workshop that is functional for all our projects & builds needs, but also a pretty space I actually want to be in!
A couple years ago we took on the garage in our last house for a One Room Challenge.
That space met our needs then, but we definitely need something with more room to work & more storage this time around.
What are some of your garage/workshop must haves?
Kitchen Renovation

This one is a run over project from 2021 because it’s a big one y’all!
2022 is the year it gets finished though ๐
If you have been following our progress on Instagram you know the main hold up was our new cabinets taking 24 weeks to come in!
You can find my no holding back Lowes cabinets, countertops, & installation review here
Leaving the last houses newly redone pantry was pretty much heart breaking, but we will make this one just as nice.
We have a lot left to do before our kitchen looks anything like our design board for the space, but we will get there!
Master Bedroom Office Nook

Our master bedroom was one of the first spaces we tackled when we moved into our farmhouse.
Part of it’s renovation included tearing down the old closet’s wall to open up the room.
The plan will be to add some built in storage & seating to this area.
I am channeling something similar to the office built-ins at our old house.
Basically we just need a little spot to work & be organized!
Living Room

The living room has already been painted Alabaster, we bought new budget-friendly couches & some of the electrical outlets have been switched out for our fancy new ones, but we aren’t stopping there!
This
We also want to replace the fireplace tile with something fresh, modern, & more us.
I also have dreams of a new chunky, natural wood mantel…
We have lots of ideas for this space & I am dying to make it over, especially since we finished the dining room makeover!
Chicken Coop

The chicken coop is another over flow project from 2021…
It was in really rough shape when we moved in!
So far we built a new dutch door, painted it white, & added nesting box curtains.
It just needs a few more small touches like; painting the rest of the trim, adding a weather vane, DIY wood shutters, & some landscaping.
This one hopefully won’t be a huge undertaking, just a little sprucing!
Outdoor Space: Front Porch

So far the only thing we have done to the front porch is add these diy stone planters.
It has potential for so many amazing things, but this year I would settle for making over the bed swing, painting the doors, & maybe re-doing the shutters.
If we have extra time during this makeover I would really like to encase the beams with wood & give the railing & deck a new coat of stain…
A girl can dream right ๐
Outdoor Space: Back porch

Our newly renovated patio at the old house was a little hard to leave, but trading a small backyard for 18 acres definitely made me forget about it quickly!
The new “backyard” space consists of a small deck, this outdoor dining area we created with one of our DIY outdoor table projects, & hopefully soon a new fire pit with seating.
Eventually
We can definitely squeeze my DIY outdoor curtain trick into the budget & get the fire pit started!
Master Bathroom

Renovating our new master bathroom will be nothing like when we did the $100 makeover to our old one.
This one is a total gut job, like everything has got to go, it’s yucky y’all!
It will be our biggest project of the year & I would be lying if I said I wasn’t at least a little nervous.
Even though we learned a lot about plumbing from our laundry room renovation, this room will need plumbing work on a much larger scale.
We will also be building our own bathroom vanities & doing all the tile work ourselves, but it’ll be okay right (nervous laughter)?!
The master bathroom project will probably start sometime in June & hopefully not last into 2023, kidding… kind of.
I know it’s a big list for one year, but I think It just keeps us extra motivated ๐
Let me know which projects you are excited about & what you are working on this year!
