How To Decorate Your Dining Room: Modern Dining Room Makeover
Y’all I just can’t help myself lately…
Normally I am very good at finishing one makeover before starting another but lately that has not been the case.
We are in the middle of our master bedroom closet renovation but the dining room kept looking at me, begging me to do just a little something.
So naturally I halted all of my current tasks & scoured Pinterest for my favorite dining room makeovers!
Extra points were given to the budget savvy makeovers 😉

Immediately I was drawn to the dark walls of this dining room & also that gorgeous chandelier
In this new house I want to be bold with color choices while still maintaining a bright feel. The white curtains are an amazing contrast to the dark wall & keep the room from feeling dark & dungeon like.

This dining room has always been one of my favorites! I love all the different textures & wood work going on. That shiplap ceiling is definitely on my “do this somewhere” list!

Everything about this dining room design is my jam, but that light is swoon worthy!

I am seriously into that chippy dining room table y’all! It’s making me wish I didn’t already have a table…

I know I want some large canvas vibes in our new dining room for sure!

Antique Rug | Canvas Print | Chandelier | Dining Room Table | Console Table | Sconces | Mirror | Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree
So this is what I am thinking y’all! Something eclectic with modern vibes & a little sprinkle of farmhouse mixed in.
I love the idea of a stone accent wall, something darker to contrast the Alabaster walls.
Gold chandeliers are calling to me right now & this one from Amazon is budget savvy!
This rug is also an Amazon find & is just light enough to balance the space without looking too dingy once our toddler & pups meet it…
I am also dreaming of big canvas art but not the canvas art price so I am gonna take this shower curtain & hopefully DIY some magic!
Those sconces are absolutely gorgeous & the mirrored back will reflect light & brighten up the space.
