DIY Linen Sign
Add character to any room with this super simple & budget savvy DIY linen sign. Personalize any space by adding your favorite quotes or sayings.
If you have been following this little blog for any time at all you know nothing gets me more excited than a budget savvy DIY project. I love being able to create custom pieces for our home that add character without breaking the bank. This DIY linen sign project definitly checks all those boxes!
Now that the nursery is complete I wanted to share with y’all one of my favorite features of the room!

I wanted to create a focal point for the room & really tie in the nautical theme, although your linen sign does not have to have a nautical vibe at all. I searched & searched for the perfect sign for above his crib & couldnt quite find what I wanted so I enlisted the help of my mom to make one.
Supplies:
- Linen Tarp
- Stencil or Circuit Machine
- Wall Hooks
- Rope to Hang Sign
Tutorial:
- Decide on the size of the sign you want, this one is 4ft X 5ft, but there are tons of sizes to choose from.
- Pick your stencil lettering for whatever quote or saying you are going to use. This quote is actually one of my husabands favorites & fit our theme so it worked out perfectly. My mom used her circuit to make our letters so I didnt need a stencil. If you are using a stencil though I would suggest using fabric paint.
- After my quote was irnoned on we simply folded the top over the rope I bought & secured it with pins all the way down.

4. Next I chose some adorable whale tail hooks to hang it from.

Thats all folks! Super simple budget savvy DIY linen sign, its so simple its barely a tutorial but when I found out this months DIY Project Challenge was fabric I knew I had the perfect project to share!
