DIY Dollar Tree Moss Décor
CREATE THESE DIY DOLLAR TREE MOSS DECOR PIECES TO ADD A FRESH FEATURE TO YOUR TABLESCAPE OR COFFEE TABLE
Do yall ever need like a breathe in-between decorating for the seasons? Like you just put away all your themed décor but its too early to decorate for the next holiday. That is me currently, I just put away all my winter/valentines décor & I am just not ready to go full blow Easter yet. I need an in-between, so I grabbed some Dollar Tree moss & got to work!
Yall are going to love how easy & fun these moss décor ideas are & they were super budget savvy to make. They are perfect for the in-between or neutral tablescape you are looking for!
Napkin Rings
If you have been hanging out around this blog for any time at all yall know I love a napkin ring. I think they are the perfect way to button up a tablescape & add an extra fun element! Plus you can make them for practically nothing!
~Spring Napkin Rings ~ Fall Napkin Rings ~ Christmas Napkin Rings ~
Supplies:
- Dollar Tree Shower Curtain Rings
- Dollar Tree Moss
- Hot Glue Gun
Process:

Start by applying a hot glue directly onto the shower curtain ring & pressing moss down on top of it with a popsicle stick. Definitely use something to push the moss down or you will, I repeat you will burn your fingers…trust me!

Work your way around the entire ring making sure to be generous with the moss. You don’t want any of the shower curtain ring peeking through.

After the top side of the shower curtain is completely covered, move onto the inside of the shower ring.

Ta- Da a super simple napkin ring perfect for your spring, summer, Easter, or neutral tablescape!
Moss Vase Fillers
Why are vase fillers so darn expensive?! I love them but I don’t love the price so I decided it was time to DIY my own budget savvy ones.
Supplies:
- Dollar Tree Moss
- Styrofoam Balls
- Dollar Tree Twine
- Hot Glue Gun
Process:

Start by separating your moss in front of you. It will be easier to manipulate if you pull it apart ahead of time. I did try to use Mod Podge before hot glue & the moss just came off so that was definitely a fail. The hot glue worked out perfectly though. Just continue to add moss around the entire Styrofoam ball.

To add some texture to my vase fillers I did a couple Styrofoam balls wrapped in Dollar Tree twine. Start by adding a bead of hot glue to the center of the ball & pressing one end of the twine down into it.

Continue to wrap the twine tightly around the ball until you get to the bottom. Then add more hot glue to secure the other end.

This tablescape is the perfect fresh & neutral vibe I was going for! Plus it all looks great with my DIY faux Pottery Barn rope placemats!
