DIY Pull Out Baking Sheet Organizer
Supplies:
- 1″ Primed White Pine Board
- 1/4″ Plywood
- Drawer Slides
- Wood Glue
- Dado Router Bit (or nails)
- Measuring Tape
- Drill
- Jigsaw
Tutorial:

First, install the two drawer slides at the bottom of the cabinet.
Use scrap wood to make sure they will slide on the outside of the cabinets trim.
Next, measure the distance in-between the drawer slides with both pieces installed.
This is the size you want to build the drawer.

Cut the primed pine boards to the drawer size using a miter saw.

For the bottom of the drawer you can either use a router to create slots for the bottom to fit into or you can glue & nail it from the bottom (at a later step).
We used a router because it’s simple & we already had it set up from our closer drawer project!

Once the sides are built attach the frame together using pocket holes & screws.

The bottom will be made out of 1/4″ plywood cut to the size of the bottom of the drawer.

Once the base of the drawer is built it’s time to add the slot.
The slot piece can be cut out with a jigsaw, also cut out triangle brackets

Secure the slot using the brackets you made & screws.
It’s important to use a level also just to be sure the slot piece is straight!

Once the drawer is completely assembled, attach it to the slides.

After you insert the drawer into the cabinet you can make adjustments using the slides.

Once the drawer base is installed attach the drawer front using clamps & screws.

That’s it, now all our baking sheets are neatly organized & easily accessible!

& I finally have a drawer, something I have wanted in this kitchen since the beginning!

Now that I know how easy this was to build, you can bet this won’t be the last!
