If y’all have been following along with us on this farmhouse fixer upper journey you know we are currently tackling our master bedroom closet!

Since we decided to completely remove the wall that was housing the old closet that was actually in the master bedroom, we needed somewhere else for all the clothes to go besides the floor.

We are taking a room that we think the previous owners used as an office & turning it into our dream walk-in closet!

Before:

It worked out perfectly because with the help of a jigsaw we were able to reach this room from our master bathroom.

And we were able to remove half the wall that contained this rooms closet to accommodate our future laundry room!

Obviously, every good renovation project starts off with new lighting (& popcorn ceiling removal but that’s another story)!

For our new master closet/laundry room I chose ceiling lights that were both budget friendly & beautiful!

The closet section will be getting this gorgeous light installed! I snagged it from Wayfair while it was on sale about 2 months before we even closed on this house. Talk about being my soul-light!

And this chic pendant light is shining bright in the laundry area!

I found it on Amazon for less than $100!
