Hot Cocoa Bar
Yall Alabama has decided to get cold in a hurry. We basically skipped fall & went right into winter weather, so naturally, I have already been enjoying getting cozy by our fireplace, slipping on my fuzzy socks, & sipping on some hot cocoa! So I thought today would be the perfect day to show yall my hot cocoa bar! I set one up every year before we host Thanksgiving & its always a big hit. I have even teamed up with some blogger friends, the extremely talented Kippi from Kippi at home & Lauren from The Little Lake Cottage, to bring yall on the best bar hop you have ever been on, the hot chocolate bar kind!

I love the whimsical feel of our hot chocolate bar this year, we decided to go with traditional Christmas colors this year & I am loving it!
How fun is this Ho Ho Ho banner?! I even found those cute vases at the target dollar section. I simply fill them with some garland for a festive look.
Every hot cocoa bar needs adorable Santa mugs!
-These Martha Stewart mugs are perfect for holding a cup full of cheer-
You can use premade nestle hot chocolate mix or use this yummy recipe from Martha Stewart. Storing my mix in an airtight jar keeps it good for all season! I usually like to make extra & give them as hostess gifts & to our mail lady. I bought these mini plastic scoopers for the mix & toppings & just added some glitter to the handles!
You cant have a hot chocolate bar without toppings! I like to put out marshmallows, whip cream, red hots, sprinkles, caramel sauce & chocolate chips for everyone to choose from! The candy canes make the perfect stirrer & add more flavor to the hot cocoa.
Decor for your hot cocoa bar doesn’t have to be expensive either, I made this sign out of a blank canvas & just added some dollar store jingle bells.
The main thing to remember is to just have fun with your hot cocoa bar, try different toppings, & fill your mugs with whatever makes you happy!
Plus, don’t forget to check out Kippi’s & Lauren’s amazing hot cocoa bars for even more inspiration!
