Holiday Home Hop Tour
Welcome y’all to this years holiday home hop tour! I am so excited to be a part of this amazing hop & I know yall will love all the amazingly talented blogger’s homes too! I know you’ll love all the wonderful Christmas inspiration, so be sure to check out Kippi at Kippi At Home & Denise at Swellegant Life Blog!
If you are new to this little blog of mine, my names Lia & I share this cozy home with my husband Justin, our 3 wonderful pups, & we are expecting our first human baby in May. We have been transforming our builder grade cookie-cutter house into a craftsman home, one DIY transformation at a time!
Enough about us, on to the tour! I can’t wait to show you all our Christmas decor.

I like to keep our entry way pretty simple by just adding a few candles & some greenery.

How cute is this wooden sleigh I picked up from the Target (nothing really is a) dollar section! I added a little red & white quilt my mom made for baby Eli to the bottom of our entryway table to add some festive color.
The Tree

If I had to define our Christmas decor this year I would say its classic. Justin loves the classic red & white colors so I went with it, he’s been putting up with a lot lately from this pregnant mama. Yall I cried over forgetting buns the other day & have left all cooking/cleaning up to him, so if he wants classic Christmas he gets classic Christmas!

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is our ornament exchange. Every year Justin & I exchange an ornament from a moment, memory, or trip that year. This ornament was the first one I made for our first exchange 5 years ago, its our wedding invitation.

I dressed up our bar with some greenery & my favorite hot cocoa mugs. Plus it would not be my house without at least one chalkboard sign. They are one of the best budget-savvy ways to decorate because you can use them for every season.

Our tablescape consists of gold chargers I snagged from the dollar store, candle sticks I scored from the thrift store & spray painted gold, & flocked greenery.

The napkins add just enough classic Christmas color & tied leafy vines around them.

This is my favorite room in the house right now. I love getting cozy by the fireplace with some hot cocoa & watching Christmas movies.

I know birch logs are the “in” thing right now but I don’t have a birch tree & the fake ones are so dang expensive! So I just buy real logs from Lowes & store them in this cool metal basket I scored from TJ Maxx.

-Christmas Stockings-

I can’t do a home tour without a few doggy photobombs. Just as I got my pillows photo ready fluffed this one decided they were perfect for a nap & I just can’t argue with that face.

One of my favorite budget-friendly ways to decorate is with old books. I like to wrap them in craft paper & tie them together with a little twine. I framed one of my favorite hymnals & added a little

Now onto the kitchen! I dressed up our kitchen table with a plain glass bowl filled with some ornaments & wrapped with holly garland. The table runner was snatched from Target for $3 (score)! Do you see our festive hot cocoa bar in the background?
Check out my DIY budget savvy hot cocoa bar here!

I added a bit more greenery to the countertops along with these little houses that I feel in love with!

I big puffy heart love these gingerbread houses & gingerbread man lights! Justin & I have never been able to construct a good gingerbread house so these will most likely be the only kind that lives in our home.
