YOUR FAVORITE 10 PROJECTS, ROOM RENOVATIONS, & DECOR POSTS OF 2019
Welcome to the new year yall! 2019 was an amazing year for the Southern Yankee DIY family. We welcomed our sweet baby Eli to crew & celebrated 6 years of marriage. We also completed 3 room renovations, 1 room refresh, 2 One Room Challenges, countless DIY décor projects, & started our YouTube Channel!
It has been a busy year to say the least but we wouldn’t change a thing. We want to thank yall for all your support & we want to make 2020 even better! I would absolutely love for yall to share what your favorite project was in the comments & also what you want to see more of this year. In the meantime here’s our top 10 projects of 2019:
10. DIY Fall Sign
This was a super fun & budget savvy project that got our home fall ready! I cant wait to make more of these DIY signs this year.
We started this little room refresh right before baby Eli arrived. The goal was to do a little update without spending a fortune & going through the process of a complete renovation. I love how peaceful & serene this room is & our guests love it too!
This project was more recent but yall loved it! It was such a simple & fun DIY for the Christmas season!
Who says a coat closet cant be beautiful? This little renovation cost me $50 & 1 day to create! This year I think I will go back & add more hooks to the sides since we added one more person to our mix. For a 7 month old he has a lot of baggage!
Easily my favorite renovation of the year! This was our first One Room Challenge of 2019 & definitely my favorite room to date. Its so soothing & serene, baby Eli loves it & so do we.
Eli’s nursery closet ranked even higher than the nursery itself. It cost us less than $100 to add built-in shelving & storage. I am so happy we included the closet in the renovation because having everything so organized has kept me half way sane yall!
These faux Pottery Barn rope placemats are one of my favorite Dollar Tree DIY projects to date! This simple project saved me lots of money & was so easy to make!
Dollar Tree is part of my love language & clearly yall love these projects too! This was a last minute project for me because our fall tablescape needed a little extra oomph & this easy DIY delivered!
Large wooden signs are definitely a staple in my décor, especially now that I know how to make them for a super budget savvy price!
This was the number one liked post of 2019 & one of my favorite projects too! It was my first time really working with wallpaper & made me a believer! This transformation is definitely one of my favorites so I’m glad yall loved it too!
That’s a wrap on our most liked 2019 posts! We want to thank yall for supporting us as we learn new techniques & find different ways to make our house into a home. We couldn’t do it without yall! I would love to know what your favorite 2019 project was & what yall would love to see more of so let me know in the comments or shoot me an email! Happy New Year yall, I hope it is a blessed one.
