Spring/Easter Tablescape: Garden Themed
CREATE A BEAUTIfUL SPRING/EASTER GARDEN THEMED TABLESCAPE THAT WILL WOW YOUR GUESTS
Ahh, spring I thought you forgot about us, but you are here finally & I am so happy! I will be honest y’all I always start putting out spring decor before spring actually arrives because fresh flowers & fun colors always feel like a fresh start.
Every year Justin & I host Easter dinner at our home so I always try & create a fun tablescape for our guests! If you have been following along this little blog for any time at all you know I am all about doing things the budget savvy way, & tablescapes are no exception.
Most of this tablescape is made from Dollar Tree items & just a little DIY elbow grease!
I always start a tablescape with a cute table runner & this one is actually just some pretty spring wrapping paper!
Next, I decide on a theme for the tablescape & create a centerpiece. This year I decided on a garden theme so that the tablescape could last all spring. The centerpiece is just a glass jar filled with Dollar Tree Easter eggs I spray painted to give them a matte finish. When it gets closer to time I will fill the vase with real tulips, but I can’t keep anything alive for more than two days so I have to wait.
Under the centerpiece I placed a DIY picket fence I made out of 5-gallon paint sticks! This is one of my favorite parts of the tablescape because I can use it

Following the garden theme, I always made mini picket fence placemats for each guest! They each only cost 98 cents to make. The moss napkin rings I made out of Dollar Tree shower curtain rings.
The floral garland I bought last year from Michaels. The little clay pots are from the Dollar Tree. I just filled them with moss & placed them around the table.
The only new purchase I made for this tablescape are the two whitewashed pots I snagged them for $3 a piece at Michaels.
My biggest tip for decorating for the different seasons is to shop your home. You can always make the decor look new by using it in a different way or placing it in a different room. Decorating doesn’t have to be expensive & as long as you love it that’s all that matters!
